I attended Suncoast's Animania! event today. If you've never heard of it, it's a celebration of all things anime that Suncoast and FYE run every couple of months. Mixed in with all this is a cosplay contest. I took some pictures and have them posted on my blog.

Anyone plan on going to Otakon? Cuz ...like, if you are, wanna be my buddy? My roommate and I are making our first trip (to any type of convention really) and have no idea what to expect. Anime fans freak me out and I'll run screaming from cosplayers. Any advice/prayers?
